Obama-Rama... Something very interesting is happening here in America. We have a new President about to take over power. There seems to be this 'buzz' that this man will 'change' things somehow.

I hope he is an effective leader-who takes bold steps-in the best interest of our nation & world.

Personally I think it's wonderful that an African-American is going to be our 44th President. Our 3rd President [Thomas Jeffereson] actually owned black slaves! We've come a long way since those most cruel & oppressive times.

'The Decade Without a Name" has just begun it's final year. Remember back in 1999 when everyone thought the world would end-once the hit counter-hit 2000? "The Y2K Bug" I believe it was called. Computers fritzin' out, panic, planes dropping from the sky, etc...

10 years have gone by since then. I'm amazed at how quickly time passes.

Blogging has taken a back seat to Love the most of 2008. I've posted a picture of my most amazing girlfriend. Her name is Linda & I love her dearly.

Now I have a whole year to reflect back upon. I have returned to once again inflict you with my smug opinions.

Blogging Again... I'm back to the wonderful world of Blogging! My only problem [at the moment] is I don't really have anything to say.

I'm sure I'll post something that will 'change the world' soon.

What I will say is.... Hello!

Presidential Prognosis Negative... I've been somewhat 'alarmed' at the way the U.S. Presidential primaries are going. I make no apologies in saying that I'm a Democrat with 'amendments.' That does not mean that I'm a 'left-wing, liberal nut' like a person such as *Ann Coulter might perceive.

*For those who don't know... Ann Coulter is a 'right-wing, conservative nut.

I'm actually quite frightened at the moment. George W. Bush sucks as President. You ever notice this guy always sort of smiles & laughs no matter what questions are put forth to him? Does Bush even have a clue?

In any case George "Lame Duck" Bush is out of office next year. However what the hell is going to happen afterwards? Obama, Hillary & McCain all scare me out of my wits!

Will the terrorists [test the new President] as they have done with Bill Clinton in 1993 & "W" in 2001? I believe so. They were intent on taking down the World Trade Center & they succeeded. What is the next 'target' of intent?

Maybe I'm just being paranoid? According to the Mayan Calander [the world as we know it] ceases to exist after 2012. Other ancient calenders, prophecies, etc... point to the year 2012 also.

It's 2008 so whoever becomes President will more than likely be President in 2012.

That's what scares me! I'm scared of everything. I scared of myself.

Even God scares me...

Jeff Healey... I am very saddened to hear of the great guitarist, Jeff Healey's passing at the young age of 41. He was an inspiritaion who did not allow his blindness & life-long battle with cancer discourage him from realizing his aspirations.

I had only seen him perform once [as the opening act] for the Allman Brothers some years ago. Jeff was a brilliant player who played with his guitar on his lap. It was amazing how he was able to twist those blues licks & bend those 6 strings so effortlessly!

>When I met Pete Townshend a couple of years ago he had told me he became interested in Fender's 'Vibro King' guitar amplifiers after seeing Jeff Healey use them.

I'm sure everyone who ever saw Jeff perform was inspired by his tenacity & bravery in the face of adversity.

Hey! Now that this decade is approaching it's end.... what are we going to call it-when referring to it-in years to come?

The O's? or maybe the Twenty 'Naughts?

Actually I'm quite happy to be here in 2008 & have a major year planned.

This is the fucking year... The good stuff takes time & that time is now at hand for me.
