Music is in the air.... Recording has become my new 'drug of choice' lately. We're really getting quite a bit done & I'm very pleased at the way it's all coming together. I'm intentionally holding-off on putting anything new on IAC or MySpace at the moment. In fact, we're revamping everything. For those who liked the 3 songs we have up, you're really gonna dig the new tunes! I've got a plan...

About Me
- Name: Bonfire Jones
- Location: Clifton, New Jersey, United States
Eternal Optimist. I am also a musician, guitar player, songwriter & recording enthusiast. 'Dream Secret' is the name of the rock band I am part & parcel of. Essentially [Dream Secret] is just me & Mark K, my buddy since high school. We are a 2 man operation with very little 'over-head.' We've been working on & off on an album that's just about ripe. With the exception of a few [drum tracks] Mark & I play all the instruments ourselves. Please visit our IAC page anytime! http://iacmusic.com/artist.aspx?id=30181 Positive Thinking Reigns Supreme. Happy Thanksgiving!
Can't wait to hear them Ed. Let me know when they're available to listen to ?
Glad to know you're doing well, and are happily addicted to recording ;-)
Sounds a very healthy addiction to me!
Hi Bonfire, yep, it was a real shock when I found out about Randy. Am getting over it slowly. Thinking about the good times is the only way I can remember him, funny ay. He was a bit of a cermudgeon, but had a big heart. Being a musician yourself, you would be in awe of his talent as a drummer if you had played with him, he was brilliant.
Sorry to hear about your friend. Suicides are so aweful, they leave friends and family with the same tormenting "what if" unanswered questions. Best to think of him being in peace now, yes?
Glad to hear you are doing some recording. I've been doing the same. I have 5 new songs, will not put them up until all are sounding the way I like. Would like to put them all up on IAC at the same time. I procrastinate over recording, but once I am started, I get really into it.
Have a great holiday. Thank you for your post Bonfire.
